2008-2009 Concert Schedule
The 31st Season of the Dallas Symphony Chorus will be one of premieres and master works. The schedule gets underway in September 2008 with a world premiere of Steven Stucky's August 4, 1964 and concludes in May 2009 with a DSO premiere concert performance of Puccini's Madama Butterfly, all under the baton of new Music Director Jaap van Zweden. In between are scheduled performances of Elgar's The Music Makers & Mahler's Rückert Lieder in November 2008, the Chorus' annual Christmas concerts in December 2008 and the Mozart Requiem in April 2009.
